By default, there is no ad blocker in Firefox; there is only what is not the same as a built-in popup blocker and third-party redirections from a website to unsecured content.
This protection is individual; the site creator can allow it as an exception for themselves by logging in, but any other user will face the same issue.
If a site bombards visitors with popups, a normal user will refuse to use it except in particular situations: for example, commercial sites that one is obliged to use, where one can to some extent free oneself from it by refusing certain cookies and using a script manager if these popups rely on a third-party internet address.
But if I understand correctly, we are not talking about popups here, but images that would be embedded in this site: if Firefox does not allow access to them, it's because they are hosted at a third-party address that is not secure, and thus the site is poorly constructed. Unfortunately, in the absence of popups indirectly causing the blocking of third-party redirections, Firefox, aside from cookie and script management, does not prohibit this third-party redirection that we regularly observe, for example, on commercial sites.
