Hello,

I can no longer perform Windows 10 updates, error code: (0x80070643).

I have tried everything in cmd and PowerShell with several manipulations as well as scannow where there are no issues.

However, the troubleshooting does not work, "unknown error".

There is a long list of failures in the update history, impossible to uninstall; there are "options" but not uninstall.

I wanted to go into troubleshooting to clear the history, however, it requires a password, but my Microsoft account is linked with Gmail and it does not accept it.

Thank you for your help.

Best regards

    Hello,

What is the size of your WinRE partition (the last one to the right of the system partition on the main disk)?

We could see the layout of your partitions with a partition management program like Macrorit Partition Expert Free Portable.

    https://macrorit.com/partition-magic-manager/partition-expert-download.html

I would make sure to resize by decreasing the first partition to its left to increase the WinRE partition to the right to 1GB or a little more, maybe 2GB (that might be excessive).

    After making both commands

DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth it shows "no component store corruption detected – Operation successful." But it was doing this (=============93.4======= ) The restoration was successful.

I ran scannow; it detected corrupted files that it repaired, but I need to look in CBS, and I don't understand anything there. I don't know what to repair and how?

Then for NET Framework, it mentions a repair tool, but I thought I had to download it? But there's nothing? When I read the explanations, I don't understand anything either? But I was thinking, what if I downloaded Windows 10 in exe? Not in iso.

I downloaded WindowsRepair, I don't understand anything as it's in English. I could see that it couldn't repair some registry keys and a huge list of errors. But does Windows Repair actually repair, or does it just show what is wrong?

After restarting, I went back to Windows Update, but I still have the same error.

The explanation you give for Net Framework, even when going through the links, I don't quite understand. I'm not an expert.

There is also a Microsoft Fix, I can't remember the exact name, it's a small free software that detects viruses and repairs? But I can't find it since I don't remember its name.

I think it would need to be reset; however, Microsoft doesn't accept my password as it's a Gmail account. So should I completely reinstall Windows or the Windows.exe?

    I'm a bit lost.

If you can still help me or give advice on whether to reinstall Windows or not? I don't know.

    Thank you, sincerely

    Hello,

    Make a Windows repair.
Check this --> Repair Windows 10 without data loss

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If the repair didn't help, do a clean reinstall of Windows 10.
Refer to this tutorial --> How to install Windows 10

    Hello,

I chose the ISO, but right-clicking didn't give me the option to mount, only open or install, so I chose open, and the result is the same.

But now I have new problems. Everything was fine until Windows update, which first indicated in red that my PC does not have important quality and security updates, meaning the PC is vulnerable.

Then, after the download, it asked me to restart (normal), but the wheel froze for 15 minutes; however, I could see it was working. I had to turn it off and on 3 times because I had a black screen. The third time, I got the desktop without the icons and without the taskbar, and it took more than 10 minutes to get to the normal desktop, just like coming here. Now, in Windows update, I have error 0x80248007, maybe because I had to shut it down, but that shouldn't happen.

Now it’s lagging; I don’t know what to do?

Thank you for your help, best regards

    Hello,

    Thank you very much.

Since I have Fortect, I have used it several times; it has resolved several issues. However, it freezes at every restart, and I have to turn it off and back on.

Windows has still performed an update, but for the others, I still have the error (0x80248007). If I continue to have so many problems, I will reinstall Windows with the USB key.

Thank you again and have a nice day.

      And what about WinRE?

If it's an update that updates the WinRE partition, it needs to be large enough to accommodate it.

Microsoft may have released some patches at one point, but an issue can still occur?
