Smtp configuration for bbox on Samsung Galaxy Tab 10

Hello

I'm currently setting up a Bbox email account on a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10 with Android 4 and I can't find the correct settings for the outgoing server. Does anyone have them?

Specifics: there are no SSL/TLS settings, but instead "none," which works for IMAP, or SSL or SSL accept all certificates, or TLS or TLS accept all certificates.

I don't even know if I should enter firstname.lastname or firstname.lastname[at]bbox.fr as the username in the SMTP.

Help please!

Thank you in advance

    Hello,

If the messaging does not offer automatic configuration, you need to enter the information manually.

For receiving your @bbox emails (secure):
    Server: imap.bbox.fr
    Port: 993
    Security type: SSL/TLS

For sending your @bbox emails (secure):
    Server: smtp.bbox.fr
    Port: 465
    Security type: SSL/TLS

    Source

For the username, it's your email address as you created it.

    Hello,

What email client are you using?

    Samsung's (email) or Google's (Gmail)?

    Hello,

I think your troubles are related to your very old version of Android.

I just tested it on a tablet running Android 6: nothing works!
It's impossible to retrieve the mail even with the correct credentials.

There's no point in trying to install the latest email version: it only works from Android 9.

Forget about exchanging emails on this tablet and upgrade your hardware.

One last point: it is not CCM's role to offer you insecure solutions that can only lead to problems.
