Yahoo email accounts inaccessible

Hello,

I'm experiencing a problem since last night. I have several Yahoo accounts, most of which are quite old.

My issue is that I can no longer access any of my accounts; every time I enter my email and password, it tells me that an email has been sent to the recovery address. I can't access the Yahoo address since they are all inaccessible. Back then, we could have multiple different addresses without an associated phone number, which is the case for the ones I use the most, so I'm really stuck.

I don’t know what to do to get out of this mess; if anyone has a solution, I’m all ears.

Hello,

If you cannot access the recovery email address, it will not work, and this is clearly stated on yahoo.com support.

There are really no miracle solutions, and it is unlikely that recovery is possible in this context.

As for the rest, there is nothing we can do here (a recurring question here on the CCM forum…), you need to see this with the help available on yahoo.com support.

Are you unable to log in after trying the suggestions above?

If you cannot use the Sign-In Assistant to recover access to your account due to incorrect or inaccessible recovery information, you will no longer be able to access your account. You can still create a new account, but make sure to keep the recovery information for your new account up to date.

It's exactly what I was afraid of ... It's hopeless to recover my email boxes.

But why did this start happening to me when it never happened before? Is it a precaution from Yahoo or will I never know what happened??

Thank you for your reply

You're welcome.

You have opted for one of the two worst email services, with yahoo.com and laposte.net; it would be better to consider Gmail.com or GMX.fr, for example.

But why did this start happening to me when it had never occurred before? Is it a precaution from Yahoo, or will I never know what happened??

As for the rest, I’m not a fortune teller and I don’t have the answer to that question.

Every time I enter my email and password, it tells me that an email has been sent to the recovery address. A Yahoo address that I can’t access since they are all unreachable.

The recovery procedure via the recovery email address of an account, whatever it may be, must go through a different messaging service (or possibly through your operator’s email as well…) otherwise the recovery of the account cannot be completed in the event of a connection issue.

Good luck.

Hello,

You are being a bit excessive in your assessment of the Laposte and Yahoo messaging services.
Currently, the major issues that Laposte had seem to belong to the past. As for Yahoo, I don't know.

I completely agree with your conclusion: the recovery account must absolutely be with a different host; otherwise, it is useless!

Therefore, Lolodomi38 must definitely fix this issue for all their email accounts (if necessary).

Hello,

Afterwards, I just gave an opinion, admittedly one that is not based on any official statistics, but when we look (all things considered...) here on the CCM forum at the number of requests, (I won't mention the other forums that have as many, if not more in most cases...)!

Hello,

I've been in the same situation for 2 or 3 days on my laptop. The email addresses are bouncing off each other like in a game of ping pong.

Try opening your email addresses on your smartphone. It works for me, but it's only a temporary fix.

Hello,

Yes, that's exactly it ...

I can no longer connect either via my mobile phone.

Either I have been hacked or Yahoo has blocked me ... In any case, I have taken matters into my own hands and created an account with Gmail, and I am going to look into another messaging service to open another inbox in case the same problem occurs again.

By the way, which easy and user-friendly messaging services do you recommend??

Thank you for your reply
