Hello, my neighbor bought an HP Deskjet 4222e printer at Super U.

The salesperson told her that it would work.

My neighbor asked me for help with the installation.

When I start the installation, there's a step where I need to select the operating system, and I don't have Windows 7. It starts at Windows 8.

What should I do?

Thank you

    Hello,

It is not compatible with Windows 7!

You can try with the driver meant for Windows 8 or others, but it's strange, because Windows 8 is not listed in the compatible systems on the manufacturer's link!

The various drivers are available at the link below.

    Consider a refund if possible.

    Hello,

Bring it back in the packaging with the receipt, as the new printers start from Windows 8 up to 11, especially if it's written on it.

With the refund, she should check in a large store like Carrefour, Leclerc, etc., and make sure to look at the compatibility.

    Have a nice day.
