Hello,
I have just acquired an ACER PC with Windows 7 64 bits, I have reinstalled my HP printer with its drivers from the CD. It works but I get an error message from Windows saying that I don't have the right driver and gives me an address to download the update PS_AIO_06_C4700_USW_Basic_Win_fra_140_175. I have done it twice but I still get the same message.
Who has the solution?
Thank you for your responses

Configuration: Windows 7 / Safari 535.2

    Hello;

    If you go to the Hp website, it offers 2 versions
    1 complete driver version
    1 basic driver version
    I think you must have the basic version and you need to install the complete version
    See this link
    Thank you for coming back to the Forum to let us know if it's resolved or not
    Best regards

      Thank you jmarion for your response but I have downloaded both and it does not solve the problem.
      See you later.

      Hello;

      Have you tried doing a clean and complete uninstallation of this printer in order to perform a new installation from the HP link (full version)?
      Don't forget to unplug all connections from the printer and only reconnect them when prompted by the system during the new installation.
      Best regards.

      I just redid everything, I had done it before, uninstalling, unplugging the printer, reinstalling and plugging it back in when the installation asks me to. But still the same message! There must be something else.
      Thank you for your help.
      Best regards

      Hello;
      I went through the entire HP FAQ with this link and I didn't find much regarding your issue. If you're luckier than I was, check again.
      Have you tried installing this printer using the control panel and then adding a printer (after uninstalling it again) and letting Windows find the correct driver, which in my opinion should work and eliminate this error?
      Best regards.
