Hello,
I am looking to recover files from an asusdvd backup I made on DVD. There are 5 DVDs.
All the CDs have been copied to a cloud.
After that, I don't know which software could browse this, and the conditions (same folder, etc...)
This backup comes from my old Asus. The one I have today is also an Asus.
If you could help me, that would be great!

Thank you.

Hello,

I don't know much about the cloud, it's vague.

If you have the DVDs, open them with a USB DVD drive if necessary in Windows.

Hello,
I wanted to say that the CDs have been copied to an external space.
I can retrieve them on my computer if needed.
To be honest, I no longer have a drive at the moment.

Oh yes, the download from Asus says sorry it doesn't work even though the link worked fine this month

"Users of our client application UpdateStar have checked ASUSDVD for updates 377 times over the last month."

I don't know if we can create a virtual drive if there are DVD image files with these formats:

Hello,

I'm not sure I understand.

Asus DVD is a version of Power DVD labeled Asus that allows you to create DVDs of your choice; I don't know if the output format is proprietary and what can be used to read them.

What is referred to as Asus DVD backup may be the ability to create recovery DVDs from your computer.

They may be sequential (when you start with the 1 and once installed it calls for the 2, etc.) and are typically adapted to the machine on which they were created; in that case, they are not useful on a new machine, even if it is of the same brand.

The interest in Daemon Tools or equivalent is no longer evident since Windows 10 or at least 11, which can natively mount ISOs.

In the absence of a DVD drive and anyway of these physical DVDs, one can create an ISO once their content is retrieved in Windows and then mount that ISO, but in these conditions, the result is not guaranteed.
