Hello, I had all my photos on my Samsung computer, but it broke down, so I bought a new HP computer, but it doesn't work with Picasa.
What should I do?
Thank you for the response.
Phil.

Hello,

You wrote:

It is important to understand that Picasa is just a photo manager.
So installing Picasa on the new computer will not get your photos back unless you have a backup on an external drive.
Even if you find the photos, the albums you might have created are permanently lost unless you saved them on Google Photos. I don't believe in that too much because Picasa is an outdated software that has long been stripped of all its communication tools.

For you, the urgency is therefore to recover the photos if the disk of the failing computer is still accessible.

Hello,
And what's the situation here?
https://www.pcastuces.com/logitheque/picasa.htm
Check the downloaded file here (the file is safe...) :
Picasa_v3.9_Build_141_259.exe

Otherwise:
Find the photo viewer - Windows 10

You need to download the Picasa software from the link, then you need to double-click quickly on the downloaded file to start the installation.

In Windows Explorer:

Not necessarily!

If the hard drive of the old computer is not dead, it is probably possible to recover the photos and other documents that you had stored.
