No more receiving emails from Gmail

Hello,

Since this summer, I've been having problems receiving emails from Gmail to my hotmail.fr address.

I've tested with several different contacts and the result is the same: I don't receive anything. On their end, they have no error emails and the message shows up in their Sent box. On my end, nothing in spam, nothing in the main inbox, and the contacts are well saved as allowed. Additionally, I did what was suggested in that 2021 forum (https://learn.microsoft.com/fr-fr/answers/questions/4543149/je-ne-recois-plus-les-mails-de-certains-de-mes-con) but it hasn't changed anything at all.

I hope you can help me resolve this issue as it's quite inconvenient, many people use Gmail as their messaging service.

I posted a message on Microsoft's forum, but the person responding hasn't provided me with any answers and told me to contact Google in case of a malfunction....

Here are a few other details:

I had previously received emails from these senders, for me the problem started this summer but I can't verify as I delete emails I no longer need.

I deleted the rules I had in Outlook, and my contacts are well in the allowed contacts list.

Test 1: from my Yahoo mail to Hotmail = reception ok

Test 2: from my Hotmail to Hotmail = reception ok

Test 3: from my Gmail to Yahoo = reception ok

Test 4: from my Gmail to Hotmail = NO RECEPTION, the email doesn't arrive

For all these accounts, I do not use an email client, just webmails.

For the record, even though I don't think it relates, I'm on Windows 11 and I use Firefox as my browser.

Hello,

Thank you NonoM45, I had indeed checked all my mail settings, the rules, as well as the sender addresses, they were not in the blocked senders but I hadn't thought to check the general domain gmail.com

And indeed, that one was in the blocked domains! (which I don't understand because I have quite a few contacts who use gmail so I don't see why I would have marked the whole domain as spam but anyway)

I removed it and did some tests this morning with my gmail address and my partner's, and I'm receiving everything, thank you very much :-)

Hello Marion,

Have you checked your mail settings at https://outlook.live.com/mail/0/options/mail/layout?

In particular, whether your messages are not grouped by conversation?

Or at https://outlook.live.com/mail/0/options/mail/rules,

have you set up any rule that might cause this?

Or here https://outlook.live.com/mail/0/options/mail/junkEmail,

is the domain "gmail.com" possibly marked as junk?

Anyway, it can be complicated to find.
