Hello everyone, and thank you very much if you take notice of my request.

So, here's the thing, I want to buy the XIAOMI POCO X7 Pro 5G 12/512 smartphone.

I absolutely need it to be compatible with a very specific health application. The provider of this app tells me that there is a specific sub-model number to comply with, and this number must be 2412DPCOAI, while some models are 2412DPCOAG, NOT COMPATIBLE!

The thing is, I don't have the phone yet, so how can I know before buying it if it will have the correct number? I hope I haven't made my explanations too complicated. For your information, this is regarding the Dexcom G7 app. Thank you for your help!!!! Have a great day everyone!

      Hello,

      I means India, G Global.

You have no chance of finding the India version, and if you do find it, it might not work in Europe-North America for other reasons.

The site says that the AI version is compatible but does not formally state that the AG is not, and it's not very clear why.

I saw the title of a thread that I didn't open raising USB transfer issues with an AG, which seems absurd.

If Dexcom (and not Xiaomi, it's not their issue) is unable to clarify the ambiguity, there are also other phone models on the list in question.

Yes, of course, but we always have this infamous number to respect when purchasing, and it's not easy since we can't find it anywhere, for example on Amazon.

On most sites, the phone is described as "global" or "worldwide".

Aside from sales intended for India, if a more or less dubious site were selling it outside of that market, it wouldn't specify it because rightly so, no one would want it.
