Hello
I have a PC with Windows 10, an ASUS A320M motherboard, and an AMD Ryzen 5 1600X processor.
I looked into upgrading to Windows 11 and according to it, my CPU is too old.
I researched the compatibility of my motherboard with Ryzen processors and Windows, and I opted for a Ryzen 5 5600X, which according to ASUS is compatible with my motherboard and Windows 11.
I changed my CPU, but my PC won't restart.
Have I forgotten a step? Or is there a motherboard update I need?
Thank you for your responses.

Hello
The A320M does not exist at Asus; your motherboard still has terms behind it, like -E or -A, and that letter is important.
In theory, the 5600X could be compatible with certain models, but it is imperative to perform a BIOS update beforehand.
So
1) Check the exact reference of your motherboard to see if there is compatibility or not
2) Put the old CPU back to flash the BIOS that allows support for a 5600X

yes, I forgot a letter, it's an ASUS A320-K
So it is compatible
I looked into flashing the motherboard. I have EZ Flash 3 and I have two choices: internet or USB. Which one should I choose?
Once flashed, will my old CPU still work or do I have to use the new one?
Thank you for your response
