Hello, yesterday I accidentally deleted some photos from my gallery and while trying to recover them from the trash, I mistakenly pressed the wrong button and deleted them instead of restoring them.

Today I tried several apps to recover them and unfortunately, I found some photos deleted a long time ago but not the one I took yesterday.

Do you know how I could recover them please? (I don’t have a data backup)

Hello,

I don't know which applications you used to recover these photos because to my knowledge, the existing ones require "rooting" (a system wipe reserved for experts) of Android.

Moreover, the "gallery" is not a storage area in any way but an application that allows cataloging several folders.

Deleting all or part of the cataloging folders does not delete the images (photos and videos) listed; the "gallery" can therefore be empty without any document having been deleted from the smartphone.

Thus, you can find the multimedia files in each of the smartphone's native folders, particularly "DCIM" and "download," which correspond to images taken by one of the photography applications or downloaded (internet, Whats'App, etc..).

These folders are located in the folder named "My files" or an equivalent downloaded from Google Play.

Another participant may have a different solution to propose.
