Tweak Power: AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!

Win10 Pro 64 for workstation, 3 years of good and loyal service :)
I followed the advice from a recent CCM letter to improve internet connection speeds by installing Tweak Power.
In the end, ten days spent fixing:
the connection, simply and basically disappeared
the display size
the screensaver
the graphics card driver
the recognition of external hard drives (20 years of photos from work, travel, and family) and USB connections
the regularly scheduled backups (every week) before launching Tweak Power have all been deleted and replaced by the one from TP which includes all the modifications inflicted on the Windows system.
End of processing message: 64 GB of files erased to restore the system to its original state...
My conclusion:
A software specifically designed to send you straight to the repair shop, lose all your data with a dose of bad luck, and while doing so if this software has perfected its work, buy a new computer...
Not happy, I simply think it's useful to warn the community about the risks that this malware carries...

You're not the only one who has had issues.
These tools are truly dangerous as they bypass the security features built into Windows. And on top of that, in terms of effectiveness, they don't really contribute much.
