Hello.
Here is a solution found on the HP forum:
I resolved the issue by turning off the printer, uninstalling it from "Printers & Scanners," then going into print management (press [Windows] + [R], type "printmanagement.msc," press [Enter] or click "OK") and deleting all HP drivers (including the Universal Print Driver). I then turned the printer back on (without resetting the NVRAM or restarting the PC) and let Windows automatically install the latest drivers. After that, just to be sure, I downloaded "the firmware update utility for the HP LaserJet Pro M201/M202 series" and sent the latest firmware to the printer. Issue resolved!
My opinion: Microsoft has likely resolved its driver issues. I think it’s safe to just remove and reinstall the drivers without needing to update the printer's firmware.
