Hello,
My Epson Stylus DX5050 printer is printing blank.
That is to say, I start the print job, it takes the paper, makes the exact same printing noise as usual, as if it’s really printing (slower on images, faster on text, in short, it prints but really)
but unfortunately, the paper comes out desperately white, absolutely nothing on it!!
Can you help me because I have to submit a very urgent file and without a printer, I'm screwed!!
Thank you in advance!

I assume you checked the ink level?
Based on that, a cartridge that no longer prints can have various causes depending on the technology used, but for personal printers, it's often the print head. So in the print menus, you need to look for the cleaning function and perform a cleaning or advanced cleaning if it exists.
Second option, if that doesn't work, remove the cartridge(s) and gently rub the cartridge heads with a pharmacy alcohol-moistened cotton swab.
If nothing works, it may be done for and needs to be replaced.

You're never obligated to do anything, but take responsibility for what you do. Remember that the people who help you do so for free and sleep too, make it easier for them, be PRECISE and COMPLETE in describing the problem.
If no one responds to your message, perhaps it's really too poorly written, make an effort and you'll encourage others' efforts... Reread the CHART... Madmyke

Yes, the black cartridge is full, the other three are half empty, as for the protective tapes I had removed them properly... I will try with a cleaning, thanks for the advice...
Otherwise, I had uninstalled this printer, and after formatting my PC, I reinstalled it; since then I had only used the scanning function, which worked wonderfully... could it be due to the fact that during the reinstallation I only installed the scanning function? And that I didn't configure the printing option?
