Hello

I've been informed that my YouTube app is outdated and that updates are not possible. I've been asked to connect to youtube.com?

I admit that I'm having a hard time understanding. On my computer and my phone, there are no problems,

I turned my tablet off and on again, I uninstalled YouTube and reinstalled it, I cleared the cache. I don't know what else to do.

Can you help me?

Thanks in advance

Claire

Hello,

You will very likely need to consider a more recent tablet.

Are you experiencing update issues?

If you're unable to update the app, it means that the version of your Android operating system is no longer compatible with the latest version of the YouTube app. To enjoy the latest version of the YouTube app, please install the latest version of Android.

You can continue to use the YouTube app without updating your operating system, but be aware that eventually, older versions of the app will no longer be compatible. Regardless, you can always access the site m.youtube.com from your mobile device's browser.

YouTube is no longer available on certain devices

If the following message appears when you access YouTube on a smart TV, streaming device, or gaming console, it means that the YouTube app is no longer working on your device.

Message: "YouTube is no longer available because this device no longer meets the latest requirements."

We regularly update our security standards to ensure user information protection. That is why we disable our services on devices that can no longer comply with these standards. Note that if your TV has a web browser, you may still be able to access YouTube via youtube.com.

In some cases, updating your device's firmware may allow you to use the YouTube app again. If you don't know how to update your device's firmware, please contact the manufacturer.

Hello

I have made all the recommended updates without success. My tablet has version 7 of Android while my phone has version 16.

Thank you for the suggested solutions.
