Disappearing wallpaper

Hello everyone,

Recently my wallpaper disappears when I turn on my PC. Sometimes when I hit "refresh" on the desktop it comes back, sometimes it doesn't. Then it suddenly goes away again and the screen goes black. However, I still have my icons, I don't understand, I haven't done anything in particular..

Could a kind soul help me before I go crazy?

        Hello,

        The favorite cause remains that after choosing your wallpaper (I'm not talking about ready-made internet applications but an image of your choice), if you do not save the resulting theme, the PC will revert to the default theme on the next restart.

        In Settings, Personalization, Themes, you therefore need to choose a base one (a single image), background, image, browse your photos until you find the desired image on your PC, then once the desired result is achieved, save it with a fanciful name of your choice (for example windows11 or whatever you like).
