Updating a CLARION GPS is not possible

Hello, since a factory return of my CLARION GPS following a memory card failure in 2021 (just before the COVID-19 lockdown), I can't update it anymore even though I had lifetime updates. To do this, I'm using a MAVIEXTRAS ToolBox. Since then, I've been getting a message saying that the Micro SD card is locked. Can someone help me? Thanks

    Hello,

    Some models require the installation of SyncTool in addition to Naviextras. Check if your model is affected on this page.

    If not, try to format your SD card (to FAT32), then try updating the maps again.

      Hello, thank you for your response. Regarding the installation of SyncTool, this is planned for the NX700, NX509, and NP509 series. My GPS is from the NX503EM series (MZ314818) with software ID ****.

      If I format the SD card and reinstall the 2021 copy of the map (which is in my ToolBox), do you think that will work?

        Your model is therefore not affected by SyncTool. For the update, I think you should be able to install the latest map on the SD card without having to reinstall the one from 2021. Try to initiate an update and see what happens. If that doesn't work, your suggestion is worth trying; it might work.
