Hello,

I am trying to create a conditional formatting rule in a table where I have created a dropdown list in the cells of column I, and I want to color the entire row green when an option is selected.

      What do you call a dropdown? dropdown created with data - data validation = list

      What columns should the formatting apply from and to?

      On the entire concerned row - table from column B to AY, the column with the dropdown is column I

    We generally talk about a validation dropdown list or a validation list. Select the first cell of the table. Create a conditional formatting rule with the formula for example (here 8 is the first row of the table)

    =$I8<>"" (note the "$" in front of I)

    Choose the formatting of your choice

    In the "Applies to" field, select the data from your table.
