Lock Conditional Formatting Solved

Question

Hello,
in Excel 2010 I would like to freeze the result of my conditional formatting (it's colors) so I can sort afterwards
currently when I sort my colors change because my conditions are linked to another sheet
thank you

Hello,
I'm a bit late, but I found the post today,
Under Office 2007
Select the desired cells and copy them into Word.
Select all in Word, and copy them into a new Excel sheet.
The format is applied correctly without conditional formatting......

Hi,

Absolutely, we can write a VBA code that colors the cells based on criteria, but it's no longer conditional formatting.
If you have some knowledge of VBA and if you provide precise explanations, we can try to write a code.

Example: I have conditional formatting for cells B1..C3, I sort my rows 1, 2, 3, my row 1 ends up in row 3 but with the conditional formatting criteria of row 3 before the sort
I would like the conditional formatting to follow the cells as the sort
