Good evening,
After reinstalling Microsoft 365, I no longer have iCloud synchronization in Outlook.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled iCloud for Windows and I still have the same Outlook configuration error 0x800706ba.
Additionally, after the synchronization fails, Outlook does not start anymore... I have to turn off and restart the PC.
What should I do?
Thank you Best regards

Hello!

Error 0x800706ba can be caused by corruption in your Outlook data file (.pst or .ost). It may be necessary to repair it to resolve the issue.
Here’s a step-by-step guide to follow:
1. Close Outlook and all other programs.
2. Go to the "Control Panel," select "Mail," then "Show Profiles..."
3. Select your profile and click on "Properties," then on "Data Files..."
4. Note the location of your iCloud account data file.
5. Open the file location in File Explorer and locate your iCloud account’s .ost or .pst file.
6. Download Microsoft’s Inbox Repair Tool (SCANPST.EXE) and run the repair. You’ll find this tool in the Outlook installation directory (For example, C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\root\Office16).
7. Once the repair is completed, try restarting Outlook.
If, in addition to error 0x800706ba, Outlook doesn’t start at all, it’s possible that your Outlook profile is corrupted. In this case, the solution would be to create a new profile.
I hope these instructions help you resolve your issue.
