Hello,

How do we return to normal: the arrow keys no longer move from cell to cell in the document, but move the document left and right, up and down.

I must have accidentally pressed a key I shouldn't have.

Hello,

It seems that you have accidentally activated Scroll Lock mode in Excel. To return to normal and allow the arrow keys to move the selection from cell to cell, you can follow one of these methods:

1 - Scroll Lock key: On some keyboards, there is a dedicated "Scroll Lock" or "Scrlk" key. Simply press this key to disable Scroll Lock mode.

2 - On-Screen Keyboard: If your keyboard does not have a Scroll Lock key, you can enable/disable Scroll Lock mode from the Windows on-screen keyboard. To open the on-screen keyboard, search for "On-Screen Keyboard" in the Windows Start menu, then click on it to open. Once opened, you can click on the "Scroll Lock" key on the on-screen keyboard to toggle its state.

3 - Excel: In Excel, you can also disable Scroll Lock mode by going to the "View" tab in the ribbon at the top, then clicking on the "Stop Scrolling" option (or "Scroll Lock" depending on your version of Excel). Make sure that this option is not activated.

By following one of these methods, you should be able to return to normal behavior for the arrow keys in Excel.

Hope this helps.

It's the "Scroll Lock" key. I suspected something like that.
Anyway, thank you, you've really helped me.
