How to remove these 2 blue arc-shaped arrows
Solvedchucky23 Posted messages 4 Status Membre -
Hello,
I am on Windows 10 and I have two blue curved arrows, one above the other, on most of my files (on the SSD and not the HDD), as shown in the attached screenshot.
Does anyone have an idea where this comes from (perhaps due to OneDrive personal, but I’m not sure) and especially how to remove them?
Thank you very much in advance for your help, which I really need.
Best regards.

Hello
Does anyone have any idea where this comes from (maybe due to OneDrive personal but I'm not sure)
It's definitely OneDrive.
This symbol means that the folders are syncing with the cloud.
It's because OneDrive is active on your PC. You need to disable it or uninstall it if you don't want these little icons anymore.

Waiting for more responses; I'm attracting trolls....
Hello,
It is indeed the synchronization to One Drive that is indicated by these little arrows.
To interrupt it, click on the One Drive icon in the right area of the Taskbar (it may be in the hidden icons).
Then click on Settings to manage the synchronization:

Personally, I have interrupted it for now while waiting to see what can be restored.
The problem is mainly with photos. With my smartphone, I quickly fill up the allocated space, and I keep getting requests to increase it.
Since I also have synchronization available in Google Photos and Amazon Drive, with much larger spaces, I don't really have any reasons to use One Drive.
But if you have a subscription to Microsoft Office 365, the storage space is very significant, and you can keep this synchronization.
What is well conceived is clearly stated,
And the words to say it come easily.

Thank you for your response.
So it's indeed related to OneDrive. But where things get complicated is that I foolishly deleted a OneDrive file yesterday and I can no longer find OneDrive on my PC as a result.
Do you have any idea how I could resolve this?
Maybe through the registry editor?
Thank you very much.
Do not touch the registry!!
To understand how One Drive works and the role of local files, see this folder:
https://www.pcastuces.com/pratique/windows/fichiers_demande_onedrive/page1.htm
If you deleted the local One Drive folder, it should be possible to retrieve it by clicking on the One Drive icon in the taskbar and then on Open folder.
See the screenshot above.
What is well understood is clearly expressed,
And the words to say it come easily.
