Controller not connecting in safe mode

Hello,
I turned on my PS4 and found it in safe mode, a message tells me to connect my controller using a USB cable but it doesn't connect, it blinks a little and then turns off immediately. If anyone knows how to fix this issue, any help would be appreciated.

You might have an issue with the cable you're using. First, try using another USB cable and make sure it's a data cable and not just a charging cable. If it still doesn't work, try resetting your controller. To do this, you need to press the small button on the back of the controller (you'll need a paperclip to access it).
