Pop-up notifications on Android 14

Hello,

I have a Google Pixel 7A running Android 14. WhatsApp tells me that pop-up notifications are no longer available in this version... phone calls ring, but not messages. The arrival of messages is displayed fleetingly but no longer on the app logo. If I don't have the phone in front of me, I don’t know if I have a message...

The app has been uninstalled and reinstalled, and the phone has been turned off and on again....

If anyone has a solution. Thank you in advance.

    Hello, I had done this manipulation, I did it again and the messages on WhatsApp still don’t sound...????

        Hello, I just read the list and the Pixel 7A does not appear, yet I am indeed on Android 14... and my problem is still not resolved... thank you for the information.
