Blue Screen of Death: KMODE EXCEPTION NOT HANDLED

Hello,
Following a nasty storm, the network card on my motherboard burned out.
I found a USB adapter to connect my RJ45 cable (TP-Link USB 2.0 to RJ45 Ethernet Adapter)
It worked very well until Windows 10 Pro recently offered me a driver update (I didn't catch which one).
Since then, once Windows loads, I get a nice blue screen saying "Your device has encountered a problem and needs to be restarted... Stop code KMODE EXCEPTION NOT HANDLED - Failed elements rtux64w10.sys"
As soon as I unplug this adapter, I have no problem, but no RJ45 connection...
From what I've read, it seems recommended to update drivers, while in this case, it was precisely an update that created the bug.
What would your advice be?

Hello,
Your USB adapter is not listed in Microsoft’s database... nor in those updates, in short, this is not a normal path. If you want to update this device, you need to find the new drivers on the manufacturer’s website (TP-Link).
In my opinion, it would have been better to install a PCIe network card in your PC... TG3468 from TP-Link for example, for €11, it’s much more "standard".
Thank you for the response. I do not want to update drivers, I want to revert an update that caused issues.
As for the PCI card, if I haven't done it, it's because there are no more slots in the mini case.
Hello,
For the location of a card, the forum cannot change your purchase choice.
Anyway, we don’t know the brand and model of your PC...
We also don’t know if the network of your motherboard is really dead..??
Normally, there should still be the possibility of a Wifi connection..??
For your adapter: I recommend reading the existing article

It might be possible to roll back the update that crashed your system..?
and/or download another driver "rtux64w10.sys" or similar..
