I switched to Outlook and now my Microsoft Mail has done updates on M...

For the moment, I'm sticking with Mail because it says that Outlook is only for Live or Gmail on M...

Thanks, Microsoft.

good evening, a thousand apologies

I switched to Outlook (instead of Mail on Win 11) and since an update, I've gone back to Mail

now Outlook apparently only works for Live or Gmail, I don't understand Microsoft, when is this going to work? Looking forward to your reply

thank you

Hello,

now Outlook apparently only works for Live or Gmail I don't understand Microsoft when will it work

False. The latest version of Outlook for Windows 11 works very well. What version is installed on your PC?

Hello,

The New Outlook works with all email services, but the configuration needs to be done manually. The configuration is automatic only with Gmail, Outlook, or Hotmail (unless things have changed).

Not everyone is ready to set it up manually.

There is another major complaint: the POP protocol is excluded. True, it's outdated, but there are still many people using it, thinking it's safer than IMAP.
Since Mail accepted the POP protocol, transitioning to the New Outlook will require reconfiguring accounts.

There is, however, something positive: aesthetically, it is quite successful.

So I completely understand why you would stick with Mail. It's a limited software, but easy to use.

What is well conceived is clearly stated,
And the words to say it come easily.

Good evening, I was with mail several months ago but I switched to Outlook and following an update, I switched back to Outlook so now I will wait.

Thank you, Microsoft.
