hello
when I receive a message with an ad I get:
“to protect your privacy, remote content has been blocked”
“always load remote content from .......)”
should I click “yes” or “no”???
what does this message mean???
and what could be the consequences on the PC?
thank you very much and have a nice day

Hello,
The message you see is perfectly normal and safe for you. It's a filter that blocks any content that could spread viruses and other infections, even if the message is completely harmless.
Remote content refers to the email content that downloads when you open the email, so it's not too heavy; it generally consists of images.
You can click yes if you know the sender or it's someone else (for example, a store where you might have a loyalty card, etc.), if you do not know the sender or do not trust them, do not open it. (also be careful of any email that might ask you for personal information; never provide it, especially emails from banks, accounts, etc...)
If the email were infected, it would spread in the computer, but if the sender is trustworthy, you won't have any issues, and your email will be enhanced with their logos, photos, images...

It's also nice to see the problem marked as resolved if it's fixed; it doesn't cost anything. =)

Good evening
thank you very much for this clear, precise, and.... quick response
I may be asking some questions that are a bit ....... but I am not a "gifted" person in computing; I learn every day while being very cautious about downloads, especially
after one or two, even three major infections on my old PC, we (I ...) try to avoid such foolishness that can become unmanageable
thank you again and see you soon (for sure....)
