Strange light spot on my TV

Hello,

I'm posting here to get some information about my issue. I bought an LG nanocell TV in 2021, and today it suddenly displayed a bright spot. Do you have any idea what this issue could be? Thank you.

    Hello HerrKanzler,

    ► Where is your stain? (the image is really very small).

    ► Does it happen for all images or just certain videos?
    Try bringing a lamp close to the screen and check all the areas to see if you see anything behind the stains (images, text...)
    If so, your backlight is dead, see video tutorial.

    Hello,

    The stain is located in the bottom center of the screen, give or take a few centimeters.

    And yes, it happens constantly no matter what I do with the TV (except when it's off..)

    I can see what the TV is supposed to display through the stain, but it looks like someone has over-saturated it.

    Hello, for me, it comes from the plexiglass light reflector that has overheated and is cracking, causing light leakage.

    Very common issue with Samsung TVs.

    The problem may be due to the LEDs overheating or the low-quality plexiglass.

    Probably the lens of an ugly is torn off.
