Hello RC45,
"a DVD Rw": did you fill it, record files on it?
It's not the OS (Windows?) that makes your drive disappear (tray on your computer?), but its contents.
You must have written and written and written that the data has become unreadable.
On the other hand, there have always been issues with DVD rw+, DVD rw-, one being readable on some players, the other on others....
Regards!
Hello RC45,
Oh, but that's not at all how we do it!
You need to extract that tape video to a PC. It takes the length of the video in question.
It's best to avoid rewritable DVDs; we always have issues with that kind of medium.
Then you edit this video, if necessary, and export it in the desired format.
For that, you need to use the Dazzle box from Pinnacle, which works wonders, very reliable and secure, unlike those cheap sticks that never work.
Good luck!
I recorded VHS videos from a VCR onto a DVD RW. I have more to record, do you have any advice on which media to buy: DVD RW- or +?
