Driver for DVD+RW TS-H653B

Hello, I have a Dell Vostro 200 PC with a TS-H653B DVD+RW drive from TSST Corp. I've been reading and burning with it for 2 years on Windows XP/Internet Explorer 7.0. Today, after reading a DVD, it stopped working.
In the device manager, there is a yellow exclamation mark.
In the device properties, under General, device status: Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. This driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39) Click on Troubleshoot to start troubleshooting for this device.
I uninstalled and reinstalled this hardware, but when updating the driver, the response was: the assistant cannot find better software. So I restarted my PC, and after powering on, Windows configures Roxio My DVD and asks me to insert the Roxio Creator CD, which I did... but the drive no longer reads, so it cannot read this CD. Can someone help me, please? Thank you.

if your CD/DVD reader/burner is not working anymore, doesn't appear in "This PC" and shows up in Device Manager with a yellow triangle and an error code (10, 19, 31, 32, 37, 39, or 41), start by deleting the upperfilters and lowerfilters. You can automatically remove them on restart by doing the following:

save this file to your desktop: http://docxp.mvps.org/b1n/DisparitionCD.inf then go back to the desktop, right-click on the file, and from the list that appears, select "Install" and restart your PC as instructed.

Thank you for the link where I found the driver tag. But when I download it, it comes up under the VLC media player and when I open it, I get the message "Unrecognized format for 'C:\Downloads\Dos\TS-H653B_TG00.bin'". What should I do? THANK YOU.
