Series on TF1 under DRM impossible to view or download

Hello,
Until recently, it was possible to stream or download most French series or others on this channel.
I tried to do the same thing today and there's nothing left. I constantly get the message: "Show protected by DRM."
Since it is no longer possible to contact Guillaume, I am leaving my message on your site.
Thank you in advance for your response(s)
Have a nice day, best regards

To be so assertive... It is not enough to say: ---xyz--- you need to provide clarifications and cite the text references.
-- That said, the purpose of this forum is to help people who want to connect a few wires... solder some components... Repair with skills... or write some code...
-- When there are laws or protections, we do not work to circumvent or ignore them... this job is left to the responsibility of the interested requester... Otherwise, we become their minions in an organized group...
Hello,
Be careful, this is an offense in France, it can be costly!
In France, the DADVSI law (Copyright and related rights in the information society) adopted in 2006 legalizes technical protection systems (DRM) and provides for a penalty in case of circumvention.

To summarize extremely, rights are granted solely for broadcasting and not for recording on collective broadcasting systems (streaming, VOD...) and operators like Orange that broadcast via Boxes where indeed the private copy exception is limited to possibly one shared drive of that Box.
But nothing prevents recording privately whatever you want via DTT and a rooftop antenna, and even a Box that would have a Scart output (it’s the HDMI cable that carries the signal, in this latter case, it’s not very legal).
Hello,
The show is DRM protected... it's clear.. You won't be able to change that, even if you are very good..
That said, you may not have chosen the right tools... Because you don't explain anything about your approach..?
-- On what OS do you want to do this..? on what hardware..?
-- Is it an antenna... satellite dish... internet box..??
-- With what software (application)..??
Hello,
Thank you for your answers!
I may not have expressed myself well in my question. So I'll elaborate:
Indeed, I have been using Captvty for years to record episodes of series that I couldn't watch live because I was already recording another series on my Métronic; sometimes there are several on the same night!
The reason I asked this question, and I am aware of the DRM that M6 has been using for years, is that TF1 has only just implemented them a few days ago. Hence my question.
Good night, best regards

Hello,
Clearly you are using Captvty.
The administrator Guillaume cannot do anything in this case. As soon as a show is protected by DRM, it becomes impossible to download it to an external device.
You can only record it on the hard drive of a set-top box to watch it exclusively on the television.
What is well conceived can be clearly stated,
And the words to say it come easily.

Hello,
Or concerning the TNT (and thus TF1) through a recording adapter connected to the antenna and an external USB drive: the result will be readable on the adapter without any conditions and on anything that reads this drive provided that these files are reworked.
They are generally made up of several ts chunks and control files; if we want to play them elsewhere than on the adapter, we need to select only the ts on a PC, save them with Avidemux which doesn't like ts under mkv, and then if necessary stitch the chunks together (my adapter splits them into 1 GB) as long as we don't exceed 4 GB if the player requires FAT32, otherwise we will keep two chunks Film1 and Film2.
I do roughly the same thing, using two old DVB-T decoders that record onto a USB stick. The size of the chunks varies depending on the limitations of the file systems (for me, 2 and 4 MB).
You can concatenate the chunks simply by using binary concatenation ("copy /B chunk1.ts + chunk2.ts ... destination.ts" in Windows or "cat chunk1.ts chunk2.ts ... >destination.ts" in Linux) without any trace on playback since the ts (or mts) container is mpeg.
Avidemux allows you to edit by cutting out ads frame by frame, optionally removing black bars and even masking logos while re-encoding.
Hello,
You should have explained all this to us from the beginning... You probably wanted to hide your process, hoping we would discover the goldmine Impossible (Santa Claus)..?
Let’s just say that with everything explained here, you should understand that the noose is tightening... It's also well written on the CapTVty site... so no surprise
-- However, by using the 6Play or MyTF1 Apps. APK here or on the APstore
https://6play.fr.aptoide.com/app For example.. you could rewatch certain shows that are not available on CapTVty... but can't record them... only on Android OS... a non-Apple phone for example..
Here's something to ponder on the question, there remains one point: the version of Android... But Google is your friend.
Aside from a conspiracy theory that is completely unrelated to the question, it's a joyful mix; nothing prevents the consumer from watching such content whether or not it has DRM unless that content is subject to payment (Canal+...), just like one pays for a movie ticket.
DRMs are not illegal as they are intended to directly or indirectly compensate (tax on media, rights paid by the broadcaster itself...) the authors who retain all their rights to view their works irrespective of the issue of their copying.
The right to private copying is not universal but is an exception that can always be claimed before the supervising authority, which is responsible for assessing on a case-by-case basis whether the request is justified or not, and can therefore perfectly reject it without requiring the provider to execute it.
See for example:
https://next.ink/7368/107234-un-probleme-copie-privee-drm-voila-comment-saisir-hadopi/
Conversely, a ruling from the Court of Cassation dismissed a claimant on the grounds, I simplify, that private copying was an exception to copyright and not an absolute right, which must be assessed if it infringes upon the normal exploitation rights of the work considering the risks associated with the digital environment.
