My computer is connected by Ethernet cable without giving me.

Hello,

For the past two days, I have had no internet access on my desktop computer. It has access to the internet via a wall RJ45 cable that is connected to the box in my garage. I also have a Wi-Fi card, but I can't connect to my network. All my other devices have internet access via RJ45 for the TV or Wi-Fi for the phones without any issues. It's just my desktop that's acting up.

I've restarted the computer and the Free box several times, changed the RJ45 cable.
I have tried the Windows network troubleshooting.
I have reset my network.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled my network drivers.
I have renewed my IP.

Any ideas to help me connect to the world? =)

    I've found the problem, one of the three cables coming out of the router was dead and of course it was the one in the bedroom with the PC. I had tested changing the output socket on the router but not changing the cables.

      And for the Wi-Fi card, it sees the Wi-Fi network, but doesn't connect?

    did you leave the bandwidth negotiation on auto?

    have you tried on a 1 Gbit/s port of the box?

    And here we go, here it is ....

    But misery, how annoying the line spacing is!!

    I just checked, I don't have access to see if the speed is set to auto since I don't have any network.

    And I can't bring the desktop PC down to the garage to connect it directly to the router.

    Is my network card dead? The motherboard?

      No network needed, it's visible in the advanced settings on the device manager.

      You don't need to take it down, just connect it to another port on the box to test it at gigabit/s; after all, a PC isn't exactly a Normandy wardrobe.

    So yes, the value is indeed set to auto, and I had already tried another port on the box and another RJ45 socket without success. I will try connecting directly to the box by bringing my PC down, but in any case, that doesn't explain why I no longer have Wi-Fi either.

      Do you have a way to do a cross test: another PC or a console where you currently have this PC and another device on Wi-Fi next to it?
