Polaroid TV firmware update via USB

Hello, could you tell me how to update a Polaroid TV using a USB stick?

    Hello, I was looking for the same thing because my wired connection wasn't strong enough to find an update.

    So I eventually connected the TV to my phone via Wi-Fi using a hotspot.

    And then I did the update with the internet.

      My TV is over 5 years old and I was advised to update it! But the TV doesn't have an internet connection, so I saw in the settings that the TV can be updated with a USB stick.

      And from what I understand, I need to download the update onto a USB stick and then insert it into the TV to update it.

      But I can't find anything.

    Hi Mike,

    We need to stop with these "updates"!

    If it's working, why do you want to update it?

    Personally, I try to avoid updating anything (except for a few rare specific cases).
    ► Why?
    Because often there are new features, not necessarily useful, but especially features that used to work well no longer function or have disappeared!

    Conclusion: no updates unless you're asked for one!

      That's not a very clever response; I would be surprised if a 5-year-old TV could read MKV files without an update. Video codecs change, and TVs require updates just to be able to play certain videos.
