Hello,

I have a MacBook running OS X Yosemite and for a few days my Mac has been booting in safe mode; I don’t know what that is and it’s freezing my entire computer.
Moreover, I just noticed that my shift key is reversed, could this be the cause or a consequence of booting in safe mode and how can I turn it off so that my Mac goes back to normal mode?

Hello,

my shift key was reversed
What do you mean?

On your machine, starting in safe mode = starting with the Shift key⇧ held down.
If your machine keeps booting in this mode, it’s probably because the Shift key⇧ is stuck.
A keyboard cleaning is in order.
