Hello,
Since this morning, my Xiaomi Note 10 Pro has been behaving strangely with the Security app.
Let me explain:
I restarted my phone this morning as usual.
When I went to the "Digital Wellbeing and Parental Control" app, I noticed that the Security app has been running in the background for several minutes.
I cleared the app's data, emptied the cache, restarted in Safe Mode, and restarted the phone, but nothing changes.
It has been an hour since the Security app has been running in the background.
I would like to know how to resolve this issue.
Thank you in advance.

Hello,
Everyone has this except by disabling it in Well-being and in the notifications as I mentioned above, the cache and application data have nothing to do with it.
Moreover, the phone will periodically notify you that such an application is running in the background, it's up to you to choose the opposite if you don't need it.
Thank you for the response.
But in that case, why have I never experienced this before?
(I should clarify that the app hasn't had any updates, nor has the phone, which has been stuck on MIUI 13.0.16 Global for months)
It only happens when I restart my phone, or when the charge exceeds 80%.
In one month (from October 15 to November 14), it has only happened to me 4 times.
It's very random; the phone will alert if it enters at the indicated time in a maintenance cycle (for example during a reboot) and notices, for instance, that WhatsApp has remained running in the background even though its window has been closed and it hasn't been used for hours.
Updates have nothing to do with it either.

Hello,
The app is integrated into Android and cannot be uninstalled.
If notifications are allowed in Settings and by the three dots at the top, Manage your data, Daily phone usage is activated, it does what it is paid for: it monitors in the background the phone usage and the various additional modes that have been activated.
It will notably, even if we are not actively using an app, "calculate" the actions of unlocking the phone, the apps that themselves are allowed to run in the background, the usage time...
Except maybe for parental controls, everyone does what they want, I don't see why my phone should interfere with the time I spend on it and what I do: I haven't activated the relevant data.
