Xiaomi Poco X3 Pro won't turn on anymore

Hello,

So this is not really a question but more of a solution.

My X3 pro wouldn't turn on after a restart (following a stuck gray screen).

I tried several solutions

Power button + volume up/down

Hold the power button for 30 seconds

Disconnect and reconnect the battery

Nothing worked.

So I wanted to "punish" the phone and put it in the freezer. And 30 minutes later it turned back on!

So my advice for those experiencing this problem, arm yourself with a big SD card, put the smartphone in the freezer, and as soon as it restarts, back up everything you can as fast as you can. Just in case the smartphone only survives for 10 minutes.

I admit it, but it worked.

I hope this can help anyone who encounters a similar problem.

By the way, I think that if the time in the freezer worked, it's probably related to the thermal paste, which (after checking) was completely dried out.

So, a less drastic solution might be to simply change the paste.

Is your phone still working or have you just retrieved your data and switched phones?
