AOC monitor game mode locked

Hello, I'm a bit lost because I bought a 49-inch Aoc Agon monitor. I connected my PS5 to it and the image is fully displayed on the screen but looks completely awful because it's stretched. In my picture settings, I don't have access to 4:3 and I don't know why, but I also don't have access to game mode; it's turned off and I can't activate it. What should I do? Thanks

Hi

Did you connect it via HDMI?

In my opinion, you might be overestimating, it's a PC monitor, not a TV; you wouldn't have this problem with a TV.

Check out these tips on the manufacturer's website:

https://aoc.com/fr/gaming/news/guide-de-compatibilite-des-consoles-agon-by-aoc

The best thing to do is to submit a ticket directly to them (at the bottom of the page in the link)

Yes, it's connected via HDMI. While watching on YouTube, I see people playing comfortably on the whole screen with a nice image. For me, it’s very stretched and flattened. I have a game mode setting that is off, and I can't seem to turn it on. I bought this screen specifically to have 2 screens in 1.

Good evening, I'm currently having the same problem. Have you managed to solve it and reactivate game mode since then? If so, how did you do it please?

Hello! I had the same problem with game mode. To unlock it, I went to the manufacturer's website and downloaded the "G-Menu" program. On PC, it works around the problem, but I don't know if it works on PS5?

For the stretched display, it's a resolution issue. You need to adjust it in the console settings and set the display to 1920x1080. That should solve the problem.
