Hello,

I have a problem with the screen of my desktop PC running VISTA 64-bit.
Generally, after a screensaver, the screen goes black and a white box says "Non-optimal mode Recommended mode 1280X1024 64HTZ". I have no way of returning to the desktop; I have to turn it off directly using the power button or unplug the screen for 5 minutes to get back to the desktop.

I checked if the resolution was set correctly as indicated in the message, everything is fine, no updates to be made.
Can you help me; it's really annoying!!

Thank you in advance.

PS: this problem started after we changed our tower, purchased brand new!
Configuration: Windows VISTA 64bit

No !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't change your screen, it works fine !!!!!!!
I had the same problem, and after "messing around," I fixed it. Follow my instructions:
1. If you have another screen, connect it in place of the old one.
2. If it works, right-click on the desktop, click on properties.
3. Click on settings.
4. Click on advanced.
5. At the top, click on screen.
6. There, below, you will see the frequencies like "45 hertz," click on the arrow and select the frequency that the other screen indicated, then plug it back in, and it should work normally !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
