LG SN4 Soundbar Issue (Standby)

Hello,

I have a problem with my LG SN4 soundbar.

This morning I tried to turn it on, but it wouldn't turn on at all. I tried everything and nothing happened. It only displays STBY when I power it on. I have tried lots of things I found online but nothing works.

I was only able to use it 3 times before it stopped working; it is new.

I hope someone can help me.

Thank you.

    Hello,

     it's new

In this case, it would be better to return it for warranty service.

What happens when you unplug the power cord?

Hello, I tried to reset the speaker but it doesn’t do anything, except display STBY when I plug it back into the power outlet.

It's hard to tell, but the problem is that it doesn't want to cooperate at all…

So, customer service to assert the warranty.

        All the best.

    Hello

Since "I've tried a bunch of things" doesn't explain much, for a new device the logic is first to perform a "Factory reset" (check either the manual or the LG website).
If the factory reset doesn't work or doesn't last long, it's straight back under warranty (2 years) to the seller who is obligated to repair or replace it as they see fit.
Note that often sellers will direct you to the brand, you can refuse and force them to take responsibility (European law).

    Best regards

      Hello,

I tried unplugging and plugging it back in. Changing the outlet. Trying to reset the soundbar. It doesn’t do anything. Many manipulations found on the internet don’t help at all.

I'll see what the seller has to say, being from Electro Depot, we’ll see what he tells me.

Electro deposit is subject to the laws like everyone else.
If the bar is faulty, they must provide the warranty.
Keep a record of all your exchanges, just in case.

AND also, it's normal for it to go into standby mode after reconnecting the plug.
Have you checked that the buttons on the right do not respond?
After resetting, have you checked via the manual how to configure it again?
That the cable connecting it to (? TV or another device) is not faulty or poorly connected on either side?
If so, return to the store.
