Soundbar Issue / Freebox Revolution / LG TV

Hello,

I can't get my LG "SJ4" soundbar, which I just bought, to work properly.
I've connected:
Freebox -> HDMI cable <- TV
Freebox -> Optical cable <- soundbar
I've set the Freebox audio to SPDIF and the TV to external speakers.
The sound is almost the same as when I used the TV without the soundbar, whereas when I connect the HDMI cable to my PC (instead of the Freebox), the sound is excellent.
I've tried other connections and settings, but nothing works.
Do you have a solution to suggest?

    Have you tried plugging the bar into the TV?

    Hello,
    yes, I have already tried it but the sound is identical to that of connecting to the Freebox.
