Error sending photo via SMS

Hello,
Since yesterday, when sending photos via SMS, I get a notification: the message hasn't been sent because the service is not activated on the network.
This issue exists with 2 of my contacts (only, I think). If I send to others, it works.
I haven't had any problems sending MMS to these 2 people in the past.
I thought the problem was with my 2 friends (husband and wife), but if I send with my wife's phone, everything works fine.
Do you have an explanation?
Thanks, I'm lost.
PS I'm with Sosh and my phone is a Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro.

Hello,
Have you tried turning the phone off completely, waiting for a moment, then turning it back on and trying again?
Otherwise, it's often a saturated network, and on a Sunday it sometimes simply gets overloaded.

Hello
without conviction:
delete these contacts and add them again?
Could they have made a mistake and blocked you?

I deleted and recreated both, same punishment... as if they had blocked the reception of photos only from my phone... Is that possible?

With the link, they can receive my photos, it helps out but it's still very very weird..
It might come back.
Thank you for the time spent and your help.

Hello,
You can block the sending of MMS on your phone (the simplest way is to disable mobile data), but to my knowledge, you cannot selectively block the reception of SMS and MMS when this data (or Wi-Fi) is enabled.
Technically speaking and roughly, an SMS is phone-based, while a MMS is internet-based.
The most likely cause is that these MMS are being intercepted as Spam, not by the recipients, but by one of the two networks routing these MMS either at the start or upon arrival. It would be advisable for each party involved to check with their operator about what is happening.
