Hello,
This is something that is really troubling and I can't find an explanation for.
Let me explain..
I received a text message from a close person in one block with a trivial conversation starter, but ending with something completely unrelated saying, "If your boss 'boss's name' takes you Saturday, don't go."
However, for one, the sender did not write that at all, but had actually written and sent a completely different ending that had nothing to do with it.
So on my mobile, half of the text I received has been replaced by this strange phrase that includes my boss's name, but for the sender, the message was sent with the correct initial text.
So my question is the following:
Is it possible that a part of the SMS text could be modified during the brief moment between when the sender sends their SMS and when it's received? To the point that I receive a clear and logical phrase asking me to refuse to go to work on Saturday if my boss asks me to!?
It's worth noting that we have never had a similar discussion via SMS, nor have we ever used this phrase before. Also, the sender mentioned that while writing the initial SMS, the text took much longer than usual to display.
Thank you.

I can only testify to the case where I received a text message containing several texts inside. This message included a very old message from the same sender.
So mixing texts can happen, but I don't know under what conditions...

Indeed, it's a lead. But it's disturbing that half of the original message has been obscured to be replaced by something else. That's what really intrigues me.
Hello,
My phone automatically creates texts using stored words... it forms sentences, often incoherent, but some have meaning..
It’s an Xperia Z1 on which I changed the screen; the problem must come from that screen.
