OBS audio desynchronization issue desktop

hi everyone, I recently started using OBS to do my live streams on my YouTube channel, everything works fine except for a small issue that keeps coming back every time I start a new live stream, and I can't find a solution to fix it.
I'll try to explain my problem as clearly as possible.
There is actually a delay between the sound and the image on "desktop audio". I did some live streams (privately) to test and find the right value to enter in the "sync offset" for the desktop audio in "advanced audio properties" of the audio mixer (the small window that opens in OBS). After several tries, I found that entering the value -50 ms gets rid of the delay, no echo with the microphone, it's very good, I save the settings, I schedule a new live stream for a few days later, and I close OBS.
The problem arises with this live stream (and all the others that follow), the delay "comes back" and I have to enter a new value (a different one) to correct it, and it's never the same for each new live stream, including the testing streams, I have to enter a different value EVERY NEW LIVE STREAM...
Why are there systemic changes in the delay every time I start a new live stream? Why does it vary to this extent? Shouldn't it be "fixed" once set? Because I have to consistently correct it during my live streams to achieve the right adjustment, and as mentioned before, the value I enter is different each time to correct this delay... it shouldn’t vary like that. Did I miss something?
help me.

Hello,
I don't have the remedy... We need to see if the lag is constant throughout the video...? Or if the lag increases gradually over time...? Because it's not the same thing... The cause is difficult to pinpoint, it changes depending on the PC, and also the encoding of the video.
What is your version of Windows...?
-- For example, I have this problem on my TV despite the synchronization settings... My reception is via satellite... The decoder must be on before the TV, to avoid this lag... If I start the TV first and then the decoder, I get about a 2-second delay... If I play a video I've recorded on my drive, there's no lag...??? There are the mysteries.
Hello, Windows 10, the offset is throughout the video (live) and it remains the same if I don't adjust it during this time lapse, sometimes I have to set it to -50 or -300 or even -450 ms in the "sync offset", I feel like every day the value must be changed...
The value changes, as if the sound card has quirks, but as you said, it's difficult to pinpoint the cause/origin of this problem.
back, after extensive research and private testing (again...)
the root of the problem was an option in the software, in the audio properties, "device timestamp" was "in conflict" with that of the PC system, which caused this almost systematic random offset.
I therefore disabled the option in OBS and now the problem is gone. I have found the solution to my issue, finally....
the topic can be marked as resolved (I can't do it myself, despite my connection to the site...)
That's good, I congratulate you for persevering and finding... and for coming back to share it with us..
See you later!
