Hello,

I am reaching out to you because I have been unable to connect to the EA App in recent days.

When I try to log in, I receive the error code EC:10005

I tried launching the AppRecovery but it doesn't work

I attempted to launch the application update, with no success

Finally, I use a VPN (GhostVPN), and I've never had any issues with it. I have already logged in and played via the EA App since I got the VPN.

The VPN is not activated when I play my online games on EA.

However, I tried launching the EA App while connected in France.

This time I was able to update the application

Unfortunately, if I try to log into my account with the VPN active, I get a new error with the code EC:104

What I have already done:

- Completely uninstall the EA App using Revo Uninstaller, restart the PC, reinstall the EA App, restart the PC, and launch the EA App => It doesn't work.

- I was able to log into my account once with the VPN active, but the application crashes without an error message within 5 seconds.

=> I took the opportunity to access the settings and clear the application's cache => It doesn't work.

- I tried launching the application:

- As an admin => It doesn't work.

- Normally => It doesn't work.

- Unchecking the "remember me" box => It doesn't work.

- Leaving the box checked => It doesn't work.

- Changing my password through the "forgot password" => It doesn't work.

- I tried to connect via WiFi on my box, I get the same error message with the code EC:10005 .

- I tried to connect via WiFi with a hotspot from my smartphone and it works.

I have BF 2042 on Epic Games, and if I launch it from Epic, the EA App does not connect automatically either.

I have already scanned my computer completely with antivirus, Malwarebytes, RogueKiller => Nothing to report.

My various drivers and updates are current.

I am on Windows 10 64-bit.

Thank you in advance for your help.

After trying various methods (sometimes complicated or thoughtful), I simply went into the settings of my modem on my internet browser and reset it.

Result: I can connect to the application regarding my second problem and I no longer have any DNS network issues!

It just goes to show that sometimes the best solution is the simplest one that we don't always think of!
