Chromebook (Acer) won't start

Hello, last night I shut down my laptop as usual and plugged it in since the battery was low.
I noticed that the light stayed blue as if it was still on, but I didn't pay much attention to it.
This morning, I can't turn it on. The light is still blue even when I plug it in (when it's charging, it turns orange).
I tried short and long presses on the power button, but nothing happens.
Do you have any ideas? Is there a risk if I remove the battery myself?

I eventually found a solution: pressing refresh and starting simultaneously. It worked right away!

This already happened to me some time ago on my old Chromebook Acer Windows 10.
But now I have certain applications on my computer that have disappeared from the start menu and the taskbar, but they are still installed.
But maybe your problem is that you have a lot on your computer.
If you have a lot, I suggest putting some on a USB drive, an external hard drive, or an SD card.
But I don't think removing the battery will make the problem worse.

Disconnect the battery. You have about a dozen small screws to remove at the back, then you need to open it by using a thin plastic tool to unclip the casing. It's a bit stressful, but apparently, if you don't use a car jack, it can be done quite easily. Once open, you'll see the battery; there's no need to remove it, just disconnect the connector. Leave it disconnected for a few minutes and then reconnect it, then try to start it. (You can also try to start it with the battery disconnected) Be careful where you put your fingers and place the device open when you turn it over on a non-conductive surface.
