Huawei restarts by itself

Hello,

When I press the button to put my phone to sleep, it goes to sleep but restarts after 20 seconds or less. The phone is up to date. I reset it but the problem is still not solved. I tried to put it in safe mode but it didn't prevent it from restarting.

I hope you find a solution.

Hello,

Could it be a problem with the button being stuck? Is your phone still under warranty?

Best regards.

Thank you for your response,

I don't think that's the case because when it's on, there is no problem. But to answer your question, it is no longer under warranty.

Yes, but is it when you want to put it to sleep that it restarts? I had a similar problem with a phone and it was the power button that was defective.

It might be worth considering a possible repair, as MPMP10 mentioned.

Sincerely.

Pauline

The phone is up to date. I reset it but the problem is still not resolved.

In that case, it is possible that it is a defective component.

Thank you for your response,

Do you know how much it costs to get it repaired?

It all depends on the breakdown, the cost of the repair is variable, it's best to get an estimate first before incurring potentially exorbitant expenses.

We cannot give you an exact amount without knowing the exact nature of the malfunction (at least if it is indeed a malfunction; as a reminder, we can only make assumptions in this type of field...) here on CCM.

Thank you, but I think if there are paid repairs needed, I will abandon it.

You can first check with a quote or also contact the manufacturer's support before disposing of it; be careful, nothing guarantees that it's indeed a malfunction here through a forum.

Personally, I have the same symptoms on my phone (it dates back to 2016...) for mine, it’s simply the original battery that is starting to show signs of weakness.
