We couldn't connect to the network.

Hello good evening!

I’m reaching out to request your help as a complete beginner in programming (meaning: I don’t understand much) because I’ve been experiencing a problem for a few days. My PC (desktop in my office, I’m copying and pasting the specifications of the model below as well as the network diagnostic) refuses to connect to my Livebox, which is working perfectly with my phone and my boyfriend's laptop. At first, I suspected the Wi-Fi dongle I bought second-hand, thinking it might be reaching the end of its capabilities and that I needed to replace it, which I have done. However, the problem persists. (Also, when I go to my system info, it says my PCI decoder controller is outdated, I don’t know if that could be related?)

Right now, I’m using mobile hotspot from my phone directly to my computer to write this message, so if I’m understanding correctly, the problem is neither with the network card (which I reinitialized twice, by the way) nor with my new and operational Wi-Fi dongle. So not only am I losing patience but also confidence in my abilities (limited, of course, but still),

Why does my PC specifically refuse the network from my box when it seemingly detects it without issue when it's through my phone? And what can I do to resolve my situation?

Thank you in advance, and now, for your utmost pleasure, the diagnostic and my hardware:

Hi,

probably a driver issue for the wifi card.

Still, try to configure the box to set different SSID names for the 2.4 and 5 GHz wifi networks, for example galere2 and galere5.

Sometimes certain network cards prefer it when they're separated.

And there you go, there it is ....

But misery, how annoying the line spacing is!!

Unbelievable, it worked!!! Thank you so much, thanks to you I finally renamed my network (and changed my password to 3000 detestable characters) and, even though I don't really understand why my PC decided to throw a tantrum out of nowhere, it’s working again!! Thank you! :D
