Instagram account inaccessible confirmation code not received

Hello, I am reaching out for help because since yesterday, my Instagram account is inaccessible; I logged into multiple platforms (reports+) to see data regarding followers, etc., and Instagram must have perceived this as a threat. However, when they ask me for the confirmation code to log in via SMS, I enter the correct number associated with my account, but I do not receive the SMS. To regain access to my account, I must validate via SMS; my email address is not enough.

The email states, “
We noticed a login from a device you don’t usually use. If it was you, you will not be able to access some security and account settings for a few days. You still have access to these settings from a device you have logged into in the past.”

Do you have any solutions to help me recover my account? Has this happened to anyone else? Or do you have a contact address? I am open to anything, even if I have to hack myself to recover my account????

    Hello, yes in fact I stopped trying to connect for at least 2 days and it fixed itself. I tried again and it worked without any issues!

    I have exactly the same issue and it's been happening since I activated two-factor authentication. I can receive the first 6-digit code by email, but when it comes to the 8-digit code by SMS, nothing comes through.

    The most frustrating part is that they are unreachable for more specific problems; aside from the FAQ, there’s no way to get help.

    This is especially concerning since it’s a quite important account and I can't do anything.

      The solution is right above... wait (and obviously unlink the third-party app from your Insta account too)
