I had my Instagram account hacked three weeks ago and since then I've almost managed to regain access to my account. I was able to reset my password, but the last step of an Instagram login is done by sending a code via SMS (which is sent to the hacker's phone number) or with the 8-digit security code. I would like to know what I can do to recover my account. Where can I find my security code or how can I change the phone number without access to the account?

If you no longer have access to the email address or phone number used when you signed up for Instagram, you can either try to recover access to the email address or phone number, or update your profile with new account information.
